You ever watch the documentary about Trolls2? Funny enough I watched that FIRST. I randomly found it one night, without having ever heard of the movie, stoned and absolutely confused out of my mind what in the actual fuck was going on. But I couldn't look away. It was fascinating. I had to watch the actual thing next. Immediately after.

I honestly don't think Troll 2 deserves the poopoo it gets thrown at it. As so bad it's good. It's sorta just good and fun. And deliberately so imo
It's hard to do deliberately bad right that's for sure.

A college friend made this, half here in California and half in his home country. All on green screen but loving attention paid. I helped light his garage for green screen and maybe in exaggerating but I feel like I taught him how to light green screen so togetherπ€·π½

I think I tried to watch it but couldn't get into it. I liked the idea of it, just didn't work for my taste maybe.
According to the making-of documentary, they were legitimately trying to make a serious movie... but pretty much everyone involved was crazy about this is what came about. If they had set out to make a parody or whatever, then id agree... but I also dont think it'd be as good if they meant for it to be the way it was. I think the fact that everyone was trying to make a serious horror flick is part of the charm. It couldn't have come together any other way!
Have you seen American Movie? I assume so.
I feel sort of similar about that documentary, although the documentary makers aren't doing it in the same mocking way. The short film they are making in that is also p decent.
I feel like the 'best worst movie' probably says more about this emerging industry of laughing-at, 'so bad it's good' type culture, which I find slightly annoying tbh.

For some reason when I first started reading this note, it made me think of these British films, I can't remember the name, but I remember the names were like dates or something. "Britain 85" or something. That sounded familiar until you said horror film.
Then my mind went immediately to this British film called mum and dad.
Hmmm not sure. Remember Mum & Dad being pretty fun tho, British kitchen sink horror type deal.
American Movie is great. Maybe that's my suggestion lol
