I'm old enough to remember Google+
Some of the same favorite things I loved about that experiment, I find here too.
So I rephrase the adage:
-DedBird is where you go to to fight with strangers.
-Faceplant is where you go to hate the people you already know.
-#Nostr is where you go to make deep connections, turning strangers into friends.
People who use FB or any other Mark Zuckerfuck service can GFY times infinity 🖕
🫂 This reminded me of Orkut. What happened to him? He was the Google engineer that started Orkut back in 2004...I think it was somewhat connected to Google+, but got shutdown in 2014. It looks like he went on to create another social media site called Hello, which got shutdown last year. I wonder if he knows about Nostr.
