The fundamental hate is that of humans. Human impact of the environment is seen as bad. Therefore there is nothing possible to placate these anti-human extremists.
Anti-nuclear, anti-organic fuels, anti-wind are all an extension of the anti-human worldview.
Not as good as nuclear but are necessary until we adopt better methods.
