I think so too. Client side filtering will be a great addition. The developers I think are concerned it’s censorship. It isn’t.

As long as the user is doing the filtering on their own feed I don’t see any issues.

Lol you must be slow then /s

🥺 I knew it …

Even a pedophile?

That falls under the law and law has to deal with it.

The whole point of my text is EXACTLY trying to bring solutions that doesn’t require a State law.

That would assume everyone subscribed to anarchism. We don’t.

I would like to eliminate the State. As much as possible. The solutions you are looking for are for what you perceive as problems. I see your solutions as a problem.

Humanity is not yet in a place where we can all agree to rules, and all abide faithfully to those rules. Someday maybe. Till then, there is tequila. And Damus.

I’m also an anarchist and appreciate that you’re looking for non-state solutions, but I wonder if you’re expecting too much? Nostr is just a protocol, and at the very least nazis and pedophiles aren’t going to be part of any collective decision to ban them. It’s true that clients and relays can go farther in allowing users to curate their feed, but undesirables will always be able to publish on Nostr somewhere.

Great profile photo. Very serious cat

Your profile photo is cute.

I don’t see the connection between that and social media.

I’m confused as to what you think the solution is. How do you think you’re going to just ban things you find offensive I’ve true entire network automatically and why that’s better than the end users just choosing their own filters.
