In the 13th century, Dimitrie, a humble shepherd from Basarabi, Romania, was known for his piety and kindness. One day, he was unjustly accused of a crime he didn't commit. He was tortured and martyred for his faith. His body remained untouched by decay, and miracles were attributed to him, particularly the healing of the sick. His relics are kept in the Patriarchal Cathedral in Bucharest. Saint Dimitrie, pray to God for us!
