In fact, it is a mass enabler of self-censorship.

Having your entire history tied to a verifiable identity is going to make anyone think twice about what they say.

The only way to fix this is to have child identities that speak to the same audience as a parent identity but bear no traceable connection to a parent identity.

You want to decouple identity and speech.
