I never said he was a racist, so I don't know where that came from. I don't think he needs to intend to rug people for people to end up being rugged. I just don't believe that Donald Trump is going to be the one to create an honest crypto DeFi company. That is indeed speculation on my part based on having no trust for the dude. He says and does whatever he thinks is most popular, in my opinion. Which is why I don't think he really cares if people have been or will be rugged by those types of crypto companies.

My sats on a company that gets people rekt. 100k sat bet? I'll send you 100k sats if DJT is involved in a launched crypto DeFi company that doesn't end up with people getting rekt within 5 years.

Exactly. I don’t think BlockFi thought they were going to rug anyone.

I don't either. It isn't that companies should never fail or that failure makes the owners bad necessarily. I'm just skeptical that Trump is going to be the one who suddenly makes the business model that doesn't result in disaster. I'm also just basing this on the linked article. IF that's true, I'll bet that people will get rugged. Easy bet for me.
