NATO could have approved Ukraine as a member and protected it from Russia. Instead, they chose to lead them on into making poor decisions regarding Russia. And the U.S. was no kind of friend, but a capitalism-first arms dealer that is now seeking to strip Ukraine of natural resources as payment.
