Thanks. I've heard about this but did catch the name. Prague is a very nice city. I've been there a bunch of times but didn't focus on bitcoin as a way to pay for things. Anonymously it's even better! 🐸

i spent a few months in bratislava and there was 7 bitcoin ATMs within half an hour walk of the old town, and yes i used them fairly extensively, the one in the big fancy shopping center to the south of the city... now i'm forgetting, was there trams there? maybe just now is electric overhead cable buses
and yeah, i think one or two required phone confirmations but mostly not
Yeah, I'm not really thrilled about the commissions at the atm. I'd rather just pay for sats without having to go to an atm. It could be still very early, so I'm fine with it for the moment. Maybe later this decade... 🐸
one of the guys from vexl was talking to me a lot about a year ago, i just was already far away from where there was many other users... madeira might be bitcoin island but really only if you live right in the middle of the big city
i think there is a fair number of good options around in the east of the balkans, for sure plenty of bitcoiners in bulgaria, but again probably nicer in the bigger cities, like, sofia is pretty dense with it now, also a fair bit of decent options in varna, and a few in belgrade as well, maybe banja luka, i forget, i wasn't really there long enough
vexl is like the english phonetic version fo the german "wechsel" which means exchange btw
they like the deutsch in western balkan :)
