Replying to Avatar jack

Bought a 480GB SSD & the tools to replace the dead SSD in my 2014 MacBook Air.

Gonna fix it, in about a week and a half I should have all the stuff for it :)

Hopefully not too slow, it's the 4GB model, 13".

Gonna put Big Sur on it.

Hopefully it was just the SSD being dead that was the issue.
