So I’ve started to notice those dam license plate readers in small rural towns now…
From what I can tell they’re at every major intersection, on all the highways, & at every town access roads…
This is in Illinois fyi… Indiana… Michigan…
This worries me & should worry you too…
Every time I see a traffic cam I wanna sneak back at midnight wearing all black and a mask.
Duck tape over my license plate and steal or destroy said cameras
I read an article I think it was in London or somewhere where normal everyday people got soo sick of this shit they were tearing down all the cameras at red lights
I’ve thought about it too.
Another use case of these license plate readers. In Australia police cars fitted with them crawl around shopping centre carparks and scan all the plates. Stop wait and arrest people with unpaid fines etc. it’s like shooting mice in a barrel.
There are some police departments that have mobile units that do the same thing here as well.
