Trying to teach someone about Fed interest rates, but honestly, I still don't understand them myself, even with an econ degree.

What economic school was their academic focus?

My understanding of central bank interest rates, and easy money, is that it leads to malinvestments.

Oh yeah that's true.

Just someone from a different sphere of knowledge wanting to learn a new topic. Of course I'm stearing him towards the Austrian school.
