The M/V Eternity C, a Liberian-flagged, Greek-owned commercial vessel attacked earlier this week by the Houthis in the Red Sea, has now sunk—marking the fourth ship lost to Houthi attacks since the Israel-Gaza war began in 2023. Of the 25 crew members on board, at least four were killed in strikes on Monday and Tuesday. Seven others were rescued today by E.U. Naval Forces after spending over 24 hours stranded at sea. The fate of the remaining 14 sailors remains unclear, though the Houthis claimed earlier today to have “rescued” several crewmembers off Yemen’s coast.
