Meditation report :
The story generating frenetic bouncy ball has slowed down somewhat. Its at least being courteous enough to finish a story before starting a new one, usually. The spaces between are a little wider than last time - I was able to slip into them more than once, although I couldn't stay for longer than a moment. My focus was on breathing, aiming as low as possible, and narrating it. The bouncy ball let me have that space. Occasionally I used a short prayer to reclaim some space. I'm a total novice, but I think I see the way. It could be delusion.
I was lifting a weight before the session. Just a dumbbell, but its sufficient. Today I tried a new exercise - in between my usual reps, I did this full length lift from floor to all the way up over my head. That worked a whole line of muscles on my back that needed some love. I think the exhaustion helped the meditation.
I'm liking this strategy. Stacking good things - I learned to do this from my uncle, who was enjoying some ice cream so much, he suggested we make it even better with coffee. It was like 9 pm, and that was something like a decade ago. Now I look for synergies. Lifting, focusing on breathing, then sitting down to meditate - it synergizes. I wonder what else I could add in... Maybe a candle, lol.
