Food Forest Harvest: Potatoes
This year I didn't plan on planting potatoes. In the past I've spent lots of time and effort for very little return, meager potato harvests.
This year, I found a bag of small seed potatoes from the last harvest I had forgotten about. I planted them quickly and left them on their own for the season.
Harvesting was quick and with all the weeds growing in the row, the rabbits in the rabbit colony cannabis garden got fed well. Now I have about 10lbs of potatoes from about an hours worth of work total between planting and harvesting. Plus, the row is prepped for planting garlic in the next week or two.
