My son is not. I am. Different times. If he wants to be he can choose to do it himself.
It was the same for my dad and I. I think it's a good way to approach it
Well, I mean, when I was born it was culturally normal and medically promoted, possibly due to religious affiliations and influences within the medical community. Myself, not having such personal religious affiliations and my experiences being international with an international family, and with more science being shared that defeats any non-religious reasoning... Plus if one wanted to get religious "God made Man in His image" kinda defeats the whole mutilation aspect. Yeah... That's why I ain't making that irreversible decision for him. And now he's a teen with it not an issue/problem/question at all. Dude's had more girlfriends than I ever did at that age...
No point. It was for the Jews to be set apart. There's a new covenant now.
Don't know why my parents decided to chop chop. Will figure stuff out when I have kids, the stat in the comment is quite telling.
But I'm sure also that's not the only pertinant statistic, maybe it is. Like I said I'll figure it out when time comes..
I had always assumed my parents decided it due to their religion.
