You know what bugs me; after all those years on twitter, the deactivation message came with attitude; “Sorry to see you go #Goodbye” - I expected a little more from the “brand” like “are you sure”, “would you come back” or at least thank you for your service Lol. Anyway, you’ll get it soon on your way out.

Doesn’t bother me much, I find the apps that plead with you to stay manipulative.
What they should probably say is, “Thank you for all the data we harvested.”
It was a joke! But as a brand person i did find the tone of voice funny & unfriendly for such a big brand like Twitter. The message feels personal and not corporate “for me at least”.
