the way images and videos get reformatted is incredibly inconsistent. Standard reels in the feed get 80px cut off vertically, when viewed in the reels tab, they cut off 80px off the sides. Infuriatingly badly documented as well.
Not a fan of the new Instagram app. I agree with Dylan in this tweet, imo they’re holding onto the uncertainty of TikTok’s future in the US and trying to make Insta the new TikTok (esp since they launched that Edits app.)
