In line at the TSA today. Dumb "facial recognition software" nonsense going on. I watched and watched more than 100 people in front of me conform to this shit. Not one, not a single person refused to do it. My turn inevitably comes to partake in their BS. I SAY NO. simple. Shouldve seen the look on the ladys face.

You know what happens when you say no? The TSA person has to look at your id and then look at your face. 😱

Turns out the facial recognition doesn’t make the process faster, it just gives more data to the people in charge.

Never been on a plane before. Good to know you can opt out of it. Do they make it seem mandatory that everyone else just goes with it?

That was my thought, they just do it "voluntary " to normalize it in the minds of everyone. Guaranteed it becomes mandatory eventually.
