I went out into the world today.

I don’t that often.

I can’t tell if it’s just because I have changed, or if the world has changed, but it feels like there is a blanket of tension out there, and I am increasingly surprised by how people respond to being seen, and talked to like a real person. It’s like you gave them water in a desert. Their shoulders relax, they smile a little, and start talking.

As things get darker, light shines brighter.
