I think one of the greatest uses for AI generated art is for the TTRPG crowd. You can create relatively unique character designs or place settings quickly. It's a DMs dream tool.

Here are some towns I generated quickly. Are they perfect? No. But I can drop players into a town quick and easy.

I agree with this use case. The artistic portion remains alive by being able to adjust what often feels like random results with refining prompts. Ultimately, the final result that is acceptable is the prompter's artistic sensibility. Some of the best work is by artists who patch results to form a work of their vision.
