I don’t have a problem with Ordinals, BRC20, etc, I'm just not a fan.

If we actually believe in permissionless innovation, and I do, then we don’t get to tell other people what to build with Bitcoin. And I see no moral issues with these protocols, I just find them to be short term ideas.

I suspect that 90% of the use cases currently being facilitated by Ordinal theory will wind up on other more efficient protocols. They will just get priced out. As well they should. That’s how Bitcoin works.

Not only that, but their usage and existence pays a heavy load to the network for something that is subjective.

A transaction is not subjective but an monetary event that you want to know, as it has an effect on your transaction asswell.

An nft does not have that same neutral value and is also inserted outside of the public eye.
