before i joined nostr and learned about bitcoin, i had no idea that there was even a hierarchy in bitcoin. it was strange meeting normal nice people at nostrica that apparently were “celebrities” in the bitcoin space. i just didn’t know anyone lol.
I’ve had that experience myself. I have yet to find anyone that is a celebrity in the space who isn’t a real person which I love.
