#[0] I know you’re working on a mute, but I was wondering if something could be done about the reply to all. Maybe it could be turned off by default, so that you only reply to the person you initially chose with the option to manually add the others. And maybe shaka notifications could be reserved only to the person who received them?

could do that but wouldn’t stop other clients from doing it so not sure if it would help the situation

Yeah that’s a good point. Sometimes I forget nostr is not Damus 🙃

I think the shakas is the biggest problem. Many more people shaka than comment. It’s nice to get notified when someone likes our note, but we see the same note multiple times when it’s liked

You can already select on Damus to reply to one person if you want. There’s a thin line here; sometimes it’s more fun to be in a small group chat/thread n other times it goes out of control.

I agree it’s fun when your with a small group. I think the comments aren’t even too much of a problem.

Someone will shaka a note deep in a thread we’re mentioned in, and then a few seconds later someone else will shaka it. I guess Twitter is like this too, so maybe we just need a mute and not worry about anything else
