Scan your entire system for malware.
$ sudo apt update
$ sudo apt install clamav clamav-daemon -y
$ sudo systemctl start clamav-freshclam
$ sudo systemctl start clamav-daemon
$ sudo clamscan -r -i /

Last time I used Redhat flavored *nix it was called yum.
Yum got replaced by dnf and it’s pretty good. A little slow but they’re working on it
