OK, can anyone tell me why on a Microsoft operating system, a Microsoft runtime library for a Microsoft programming language has to be installed TWENTY years after it has been widely established as a standard?

well satoshi could only program on windows as it was originally a Windows-only program..( now that I think about it must be government midlevel programmer)
