Some of the most amazing people ive ever met are people who overcame serious addiction. There is something about the hell they passed through that creates some of the strongest, and most compassionate people I know.

Hearing that RFK Jr overcame heroin addiction is just one more reason I respect him. That, and he seems willing to tell the truth no matter what it costs him, and he seems completely unafraid to admit when he is wrong or doesn't know something.

That being said, I am uncomfortable with the "political savior" syndrome so many Americans seem to suffer from.

I want to see an American people who make the federal government largely irrelevant in their own lives and communities. From the way they communicate, to the money they spend, to the way they trade and defend their local communities, I want to see a people who make the Federal government feel so excluded they cry about it and go away.

Just being real.
