Good morning nostr, its supposed to be another dark, drizzly day, but at least i have lots of indoor projects i can catch up on. I received my new pixel 9a phone from Simplified Privacy, so i need to make time to set it up. Since i already use graphene, it should be fairly simple. But i want to try using a privacy data-only sim, paid in btc, then use that with a JMP Chat number. I've used both those things before, but not together and exclusively. We'll see how i like it. It should work well i think. I've used esims and jmp, but not together and not fully paid in btc. So this will be my super duper privacy phone, maybe.😊 Btw, i bought my 9a for $425, which i thought was a great price. They had a black friday sale, may still be good if you need another phone.
I'm set on phones for now, as I technically have more than two fully functional phones.

Jmp is great, you get a phone number, calls texts, etc. As long as you have wifi, thats all you need. When i signed up, it was only about $5/mo. Super deal.

Run the Auditor app with your other phone to verify the OS. With a GOS preinstall, you weren't there to verify signatures and hash like you did on the other one.
