where did you find that button?

nevermind! just had to clear my cache
you shouldn't need to clear cache. you may need to close the window and then reopen (so browser fetches new version). and maybe reload a couple times..
I had to clear my cache for it to show up.
Nice job! Love the update.
cool. in any case, it's showing up for me now. Just sent #[2] a sat with it. worked great!
Sending 100 sats. Tell me if it worked.
couple of refreshes and I got the ⚡ but I'll be "that" guy and request that just clicking the user's lnaddress should launch the URI -> lightning:monlovesmango@getalby.com because in my case I use alby on desktop and it'll handle the lightningaddress on the wallet. less friction.
Should convert to lnurl first for compatibility. Ideally fetch the bolt11 for even more compatibility
yeah assuming a payment flow with all these different methods is recipe for user frustration imo
but you can't/shouldn't go to bol11 without amount and that's the whole reason lnurlp exists. so you're adopting ios dumbness on web with all these options. just have lnaddress + lnurlp and let wallets handle it.
interesting. do you mean on user profile or on the ln address that shows up on the tip card? or both? the points jb makes are valid, I want fewer workflows where user runs into payment flows their wallet doesn't support.
that's fair. I'm just saying it's a shame to NOT make the lnaddress or even QRs clickable because it's missed opportunity. If I'm clicking an lnaddress you can assume I have something that can handle it. also less buttons, otherwise we end up with a mess of options (worse than legacy fiat). in my case clicking wallet opens electrum, I wonder if the URI being used is bitcoin: and not lightning:
I think the options are fine. Not everyone is used to lightning nor as technical as we are. I've watched dozens of people struggle to pay lightning invoices on our website. Sometimes all of this options are needed.
tbf I think this is a good suggestion and will think on a good way to implement. maybe user opt in setting. if I can settle on something I will add it.
the default wallet will use lightning: but you can choose which wallet to use and it will use the prefix specific to that wallet. however not all work (I couldn't get cash app to work but muun and wos were flawless)
Forgive the noob question, and thank you for what you're doing with Astral, monlovesmango. I just tried to tip you and get the window that derekross posted, but when I hit "open wallet" nothing happens. Do I need to be on mobile for this to work? On desktop browser interface now.
