it is just anarchism

Ok I've got to check it out now, half of bitcoiners like it and the other half doesn't.

it has the great anarchist critiques against corporativism, but it also has the shitty anarchist ways of dealing with it

Ok after the first episode I see exactly what you guys are saying lol. Enjoyed it thusfar.

There is a vein of anarchism that is also anti civilization. Problem with being anti crony capitalism in any sense is that the false dichotomy only offers commie shit as the alternative.

I’d say it’s anti crony capitalism.

Didn’t strike me as being in favor of socializing everything - more of a middle finger to the persistent network of greed/corruption/violence that inevitably abuses any system (whether capitalist or communist) when the opportunity presents itself

Loved this show πŸ€™

I never finished it. I need to.

I liked the aspect that Linux, OpenWRT etc. featured in it. It was real terminology.

Definitely. I’m not a programmer but my understanding is that the scenes of hacking showed actual/contextually correct lines of code, rather than what most movies do with random/irrelevant command line shots lol

that was very clear to me, the guy is fighting both evil corp (neoliberal corporatist monopoly) and the dark army (communist chinese government) which, in the end, work together in a facade dispute for power. fsociety is an anarchist cypherpunk collective, so: fuck capitalists and communists. in short: fuck statesmen.

As much as I loved it, it's pure commie agitprop. The opposite of libertarian. If you know a bit about Sam Esmail, you won't be surprised. It's really unfortunate, but I am able to separate the entertainment aspect from the ideology they intend to spread.

Imagine. Same show but not retarded ending. Would be glorious.

So close to being prophetic if only they embraced Bitcoin as ultimate wealth redistribution.

Maybe that's intentional. The best type of fiction blends different worlds together that you find yourself a little confused. Then you have to sort out your subconcious. Sleep, dream, wake up, think. Original thoughts get thunk.
