⚡️ Wallet set 🆙 for me ✋ on this 🟣 via Damus.

I have been successfully (at least I haven’t received data otherwise) that I’m able to SEND ⚡️ successfully.

But other users 🫂 have told me they had an error 🚫 when trying to send ➡️ me ✋. So I think 🤔 it’s a RECEIVING error that I need to look 👀 into correctly.

I 🤔 I had connect my Wallet of Satoshi correctly - because I don’t understand why I could successfully send why can’t I successfully receive?

I tried with a local 🫂 the other day and we were able to successfully send back and forth ♾️ but we are also both using Damus.

Any ideas 💡 or thoughts 💭 on how I can figure this out?

I’m very noob when it comes to code 🧑‍💻 but I’m learning that there are 3 types of errors:

1)Encoding 🚫

2)Decoding 🚫

3)Transmission 🚫

So calculated the least effort I could make my ✋ “ask ❓” be to answer (in the spirit of a deflationary 🗺️ 📲 ⤵️) is to simply type the number of the error 🚫 you 🫵 think that I ✋ should check on.

Crazy 😝 how excited I✋ am about building 🧱 on this 🟣 but I haven’t even set my ⚡️ up correctly (or some some 🫂 have told me).

This 🟠🟣 is what it’s like 👍 to 🐝🏃 this 🟠🟣.

Follow 🆙 clarification on terms I see 👀 📜 📲

Are “sending zaps” literally the same thing as me going to a 🫂 profile and copying their ⚡️ wallet address to then switch apps and send them sats via my ⚡️ wallet app?

Just making sure I’m not missing 🔍 something as that error 🚫 has occurred before.

Are you trying to send/receive funds through your node or are you trying to send/recieve funds through nostr?

Nostr 🟣 for right now.

Calculated that if I could attach my ⚡️ wallet first to Nostr 🟣 that would be the easiest.

Then I’d tacked connecting to ⚡️ node

So just connecting Nostr ➡️ ⚡️Wallet of Satoshi is what I want to double check.

Might be easiest if you just could confirm if you could send a few sats my way and if you have any issues.

Again I’ve been SENDING ⚡️ successfully (as far as the data I can get on that) but I had a few errors RECEIVING ⚡️ to my wallet of Satoshi.

Correct. If you attached your WoS (Wallet of Satoshi) to your Nostr profile then all of your zaps would should up in there.

Think 🤔 ⚡️ is set up correctly but another follower 🫂 of mine had error sending ⚡️ to my wallet.

Still processing which side the error is on, their ⚡️ or my ✋ ⚡️.

Are you (or someone else) able to send sats directly to your WoS address from another lightning wallet? If that works anybody with the email looking address should be able to send you sats. That same email looking address is what should be in your nostr profile. To get your WoS @ address go to receive and select the option on the top for right that says @ Lightning Address.
