You sound very chilled even when facing unpleasant situations. 🤙🏻
One trick is to not fold it away.
Move to a better location with it spread open around you until the movement and body heat dry it. Can even replace your typical top layers, like a toga.
The real issue is your equipment being optimized for a climate zone with different hummidity, which can kill.
Its tough being prepared for all climates all the time and carrying that gear when you don't need it.
