Socks should never be black or white. They should match other underoos in pattern or color though. At the very least (in the case of black underoos, for instance) the color of the sock should lie opposite on a color wheel to that of the pant. Also, I don't think anyone wears sneakers anymore. Feels like a vestige of the early 90's.
