haha, that’s wild. I photographed it at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2016, in a show on the influence of Greece and greek art, in which there were examples from Greece and Rome both. It’s a wonderful mosaic.

It does have Greek lettering in the upper left, but I know that doesn’t mean it’s Greek as the Romans periodically held the Greek language sometimes in high and then sometimes in low esteem.
