No! I can't get the lightning aspect I only have standard Bitcoin address.

Check out the tutorial on their website. There’s a setting to enable experimental features.

Now I can see the lightning feature but is it save to keep large amount of sats in the wallet?

It’s an experimental feature so just use a small amount for now.
