From my anecdotal observations, most users on #Mastodon & #Threads seem excited about the future ability to interact with each other thanks to #ActivityPub, as people have family, colleagues, etcetera, preferring to use either platform.

What is also interesting is a vocal minority on Mastodon & Threads are paranoid about the other, & consider the opposing platform to be an unmoderated cesspool full of mean folks (I am paraphrasing here).

The next few months will probably be interesting. 😅
