I also commented parallel to your comment about the existence of SmartTube app for TV. It’s a customizable YouTube app where Sponsorblock is enabled by default. TVs are still the thing where I see almost everyone exposed to this shit and some people resort to paying premium to avoid those ads which is unnecessary.

Already added the day I learned about SponsorBlock. Plus Stremio which helped successfully convinced my family to delete both YouTube + every subscription-based apps out of our daily driver routines.
