Meta has released an "open" version of Google's podcast generator, NotebookLlama. The project uses Meta's own Llama models and can generate podcast-style digests of text files uploaded to it. While the results may not be as polished as Google's NotebookLM, the researchers behind the project acknowledge that the quality could be improved with stronger models.
