Java Development Kit (JDK) 24 is set to feature a record-breaking 19 JEPs, surpassing the number of features delivered in previous releases. The JDK 24 release schedule has been approved, with the Rampdown Phase One scheduled for next month. JEPs related to constructor initialization guarantees, ahead-of-time class loading, and removal of deprecated Windows port have been promoted to Target status.
