This year’s been a wild ride—work and life both a relentless push-and-pull. I feel like I’m carrying heavier and heavier baggage, while constantly questioning if the hustle is even worth it.

I’ve got a lot on my mind, but some things I just keep to myself. Those who get it, get it; those who don’t, well, no point explaining. I’ve run into messy situations and even messier people—but funny thing, the details are already fading from my memory.

The more nonsense I deal with, the less it fazes me. It just drains me of time, energy, and headspace. It takes a toll on my body and soul, trying to figure out how to handle it all.

I haven’t seen many friends stepping up to help, but I get it—everyone’s got their own chaos. Some are grinding, some are stressed, some checked out, others just living their best life. Most of us are at that stage where family and survival come first.

Still, there’s a spark keeping me going. My teammates, even facing similar—or tougher—battles, still have that fire in their eyes. That stubborn streak in me—the tougher it gets, the harder I fight—runs deep. It’s led me to some unexpected opportunities too.

Lately, my teammates and I keep circling back to the same thought: in English, “when God closes a door, He opens a window”; in Chinese, “否极泰来” — rock bottom only leads upward. Both boil down to: reflect, restart, and keep moving. I hit rock bottom, but the moment I spot something new, my brain and eyes light up again.

The road keeps stretching ahead. I’m grateful for the teammates who’ve stuck by my side, and thrilled to meet new friends—even if some drift tomorrow. Life’s a one-shot deal, and every encounter matters.

Not sure if I’ve hit absolute “bottom,” but I feel the “better days” vibes creeping in. After all, I’ve never stopped chasing that light—in work or life.

Starting a business isn’t easy. Here’s to keeping the faith and pushing forward together. 💪
