Interesting point there how technological progress has strong relation with decentralization.

Basically, Europe advanced faster because smaller states (decentralization) allowed for innovation to happen while China with more centralized system cut it off.

Also the faster the technology advances the more important role decentralization plays to keep up with the rate of progress.

Highly regulated and centralized states stifle innovation. Technological development is increasing and only the quick moving and open to less regulation states will reap the benefits of human ingenuity flourishing.

All This made me think of #bitcoin. Theres some deep insight that only digital and globally decentralized money can have synergistic feedback loop with the technological momentum we’re on.
