Agree! The over electrification, poor engineering/composition, and forced internet connectivity has ruined the passenger automobile performance and experience. I’ve never driven a car newer than ~10 years old but I might have to stretch that further out in the upcoming years haha
Dude this is so true it hurts. We had a vw electric and I’ve never hated a fucking car more.
I work in software engineering, but in web. Having that car made me realize literally everyone writes shit code with bugs but still ships, even if it’s for a car that can literally kill people. It was unreliable that VW had to offer me money back.
Going all gas vehicles from now on. I personally find the worst inflection point to be in cars made after 2019. Everything took a noticeable dive in quality after that.
