BTW I tried noornote on my Linux mint machine and I got the app image and I couldn't get it to run. I didn't get a chance to debug it as I only had a few minutes to play. Will try to investigate more later today

I think it's Debian but I'm not sure...
then just use the .deb package. Double click on it.
