How to connect to a local relay from my app without exposing that relay to internet?

I am developing a bot in #nostr and want to test out how the message would look like from an app (like primal, amethyst, etc.).

I have a local relay, can send notes to it and read programmatically, but now I want to see how the actual message would look like.
