Game theory is my primary reason for opposing drivechains - I have no idea how the incentives will work in the new model and I don’t care to find out.

Second reason is how the proponents of Drivechains have gone about it. Fuck them for talking down to everyone who isn’t immediately accepting of their ideas - you want consensus, you’ve all gone about it completely the wrong way in a system that requires it.

They can be patient for a lifetime so far as my node is concerned; it doesn’t care about their frustrations.

Good ideas need good communications. Bitcoin is a network of humans, they’re not just gonna be bullied into supporting it because a few nyms say it’s a good idea.

Bitcoin is bigger than all of us, it will be here when we are gone, it will be the legacy of early Bitcoiners more than anything else they can achieve in life. I’m not sacrificing my part in that legacy because some Devs want a new feature which they haven’t thought through the game theory of because they shame me as some Luddite for not falling in behind them.

Bitcoin has equilibrium already, that it was achieved is a miracle. I’m not risking that for some side channel shitcoins to join us. I’m not supporting throwing out the status quo for nothing.

Build out what we have and let’s see what’s possible there. If in 20 years we come to consensus that Lightning/Liquid/
