I'm with you in that IDGAF what Taleb or any "public figure" thinks about BTC, and even less about any drama they may have between themselves. I was rather referring to the opinion itself that:
“The belief that bitcoin is an offshoot of libertarian and Austrian economics has not a shade of backing… Libertarianism is fundamentally about the rule of law in place of the rule of regulation. It is not about the rule of rule – mechanistic, automated rules with irreversible outcomes… Nor is libertarianism about total distrust.”
I think it's completely wrong, but I wonder if other libertarian-leaning bitcoin-hodling nostrich-riding humans, bots and entities around thee parts think similarly.
Yeah I still don't really care about that correctness of that statement - it just doesn't matter. Trying to place bitcoin into traditional ideologies is a futile exercise. Trust and law now refer to physics and code rather than trust in humans and laws enforced by humans.
Physics and code supplanting trust and law is a fascinating development for our species.
