Wife & watched The Fall of the House of Usher over the last couple of weeks. Not bad. I give it 4.2 thumbs up out of 6.9

I think a tight movie would have been better than a drawn out series, but everything is a series these days… sigh.

Maybe. Character development in movies just doesn’t happen. Or is done poorly. Series worked here but could have been 5 or 6 and not 8 episodes.

I think on the flip-side all these serialized shows can get a bit tedious.

You have all the time you need to arc a character in a movie with a damn good script and damn good acting.

But agreed, it’s not easy.
