Why do exchanges not have a self custody option ? Is there a reason I cannot hold the keys to my exchange #bitcoin ? Tracking all #cryptotax for #selfcustody wallets is madness !

Shouldn't this have something to do with decentralization?
Web3 wallets are self custody but..... I don't trust them. Self custody need more control and we all have to study more. This is a new mindset for freedom. AI will fuck all as if we don't start to use our brains again...... so: truck your asset for your own!
