Walking around saying “bitcoin, not crypto” is a bit like saying “squares, not rectangles.”
It might make you feel good, but the uninitiated have no idea what you mean. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency.
₿itcoin is THE cryptocurrency. You only need one money. The best money. There is no 2nd best.
Thus not crypto, ₿itcoin.

I agree with all of that. I’m just saying it’s not the magic catchphrase people seem to think it is.
Yes, they can lose their impact over time. But the meaning is still true if you are willing to do a deep dive.
