Redis is much worse since it transitioned from commands that did one thing like ZRANGEBYSCORE to commands that take complex parameters that modify their behavior like ZRANGE with the BYSCORE argument.

Actually, no. I just checked the GitHub after I got done laughing. 59% C++, 35% C, and a little Python in there.
Supposed to be much more performant, but I'm not a Redis wizard. Just been doing research for a work thing.
